The Water-Based Steel Structure Coating (Model: SD-AR502) is a water-based anti-rust coating designed for structural steel protection. It is formulated with high-performance resin and functional additives, providing excellent anti-rust performance, strong adhesion, acid/alkali resistance, crack resistance, and long-lasting protection for steel structures in various environments.

Application Guide

Surface Preparation
Remove oil, rust, dust and loose matter; recommended to reach Sa 2.5 or St 3.

Mixing
Stir the coating thoroughly before use; dilute with clean water (usually 5 – 10%) if needed.

Application
Apply by brush, roller or spray to achieve a uniform film.

Coating Scheme
Normally 2 coats are recommended, with proper interval for drying.

Drying
Surface dry in about 30 – 60 minutes; hard dry in about 8 hours (at 25 °C, 50% RH).

Post-Care
Keep the coating dry before it is fully cured; avoid heavy mechanical impact during the early stage.
